Timberlands is a developing agro-forestry farm that blends forestry with farming. What began as entirely dense woodlands has been thoughtfully transformed into a diverse landscape, protecting biodiversity and creating a thriving ecosystem of natural and man-made features. We practice regenerative forestry, planting and nurturing thousands of saplings that will one day grow to be Christmas trees, while also cultivating intentional gardens and wildflowers. Much of the wood used onsite is milled from trees that grew right here on the property. You will notice antique equipment placed throughout the farm, acknowledging the heritage of Port Alberni and the generations who worked the land to shape this wonderful community.
